Due to the sediments that flows into the Lac Blanc from the thawing ice at the higher altitude, the colour of the water here is unique pale blue. Shadows of the surrounding mountains, blue sky above and the white cloud formation make interesting reflections on the surface of the lake. I anticipated this composition and was waiting for this young male to enter the window of heaven and earth when I spotted him walking along the cliff.
